“High Above All”
Psalm 8: 6: “Yet You have made Him a little lower than God, and crown Him with glory and majesty! You make Him to rule over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under His feet.” The Church has always considered this psalm a prophecy of the Messiah, the Son of Man, “Made for a little while lower than the angels,” (as Hebrews 2: 7 translates this passage), then exalted above all in His ascension. This was the mandate originally given to all men in Adam, fulfilled only in Jesus Christ, and which He now passes on to us. So what is man? Don’t look to Adam for the answer to that question, look to Christ!
