“Simple Verbs”

Matthew 7: 7: “Ask, and it shall be given to you; seek, and you shall find; knock, and it shall be opened to you.” Ask. Seek. Knock. These are the verbs of prayer. Notice the lack of begging, threatening, arguing, manipulating, debating, or haranguing. If it’s not one of these three, don’t bring it as a petition to God. ‘Cause it ain’t prayer.
