Mark 4: 38:“And He Himself was in the stern, asleep on the cushion; and they awoke Him and said to Him, ‘Teacher, do you not care that we are perishing?’” How many of us have asked this question of Jesus in the last year or so? But think about it: If the boat went down, Jesus would go down with it. Similarly, if the Church and society fails, Jesus fails. You think He doesn’t care about that? But you can tell by His reaction there on the cushion that He is not worried by the storm. He knows that no storm or pandemic will stop God’s plan (the other side, the Kingdom). We need to know that, too.
