Acts 2: 37:“Now when they heard this, they were pierced to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, ‘Brethren, what shall we do?’”
They laid hands on the apostles and put them in a public jail.” Jealousy is one of the most cruel, illogical, and unchristian of emotions. Instead of leading to the celebration of another’s success, it can lead to the pulling down of one who has been blessed by God (i.e. crab mentality), with the effect of imprisoning in division His people. But in the midst of such an act there’s no need for retaliation, which is equally cruel, illogical, and unchristian. Chillax, God’s got your back! No weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54: 17), especially weapons intended to divide the people of God.
