Saturday, May 6: “Holiness through Choice”

Colossians 3: 12: “As those who have been chosen of God, holy and beloved, put on a heart of compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience.”

We are the chosen, not the choosers (John 15: 16). And the fruit we are chosen to bear is not so much talents or even deeds, but character. Compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience are marks of a holy life–the life God has chosen us to live. Bear them!
