Mark 4: 35: “On that day, when evening came, [Jesus] said to them, ‘Let us go over to the other side.’”
It was typical of both Jesus and Paul: After a time of successful ministry, with the ice broken and ingress made, they would move on to browner, not greener, pastures. Was it more difficult? Yes. Did it take more effort? Yes. Was it more necessary? Again, yes; for the Lord’s desire is to bring His Word to the whole world, not just choice pieces of it.
