“Easter Hope”

Acts 2: 27: “Because you will not abandon my soul to Hades, nor allow Your Holy One to undergo decay.” What’s the difference between rising from the dead and resurrection? Jesus raised three people from the dead, but they all have something in common: they all later died again. Their bodies decayed. They, with all of us, await something that Christ the Firstfruit has already experienced: a resurrection from God, never to die again. (Romans 6: 9) This is the hope of Easter; something eternal, and something that can also impact our lives in the here and now, and not just in the there and then.
