“Bodily Sacrifice, Spiritual Service"

Romans 12: 1: “I urge you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship.” You see, worship is more than singing and jumping, although the Bible says to do them both. (Psalm 33: 1-3; Luke 6: 23). To qualify as worship, it must come from a heart that is committed and presented to God, pure and holy. We offer Him nothing of our own, for all we have is from Him; it must be united to the sacrifice of Christ, because all we have is through Him, and we offer it without reservation, because all we have is due to Him. (previous verse) Now there’s a sacrifice acceptable to God!
