“Feed on Trust”

May 18, 2017

Wisdom 16: 26:  “…. it is not the production of crops that feeds man, but Your Word preserves those who trust in You.”  For forty years in the wilderness the Israelites grew no crops, yet the Lord sustained them bountifully.  Anyone who has served the Lord for any amount of time will testify that God has ways - many, many ways - of sustaining His people when there is no visible means of support.  Why does He bring us through these times?  So we will never forget Deuteronomy 8: 3, “Man does not live by bread alone, but man lives by everything that proceeds out of the mouth of the Lord.”  In other words, we must always trust in God and His Word.
