“You’re Beautiful When You’re Saved”

Wisdom 19: 22: “For in everything, O Lord, You have exalted and glorified Your people; and You have not neglected to help them at all times and in all places.” This book, the Wisdom of Solomon, serves as a reminder of God’s great commitment to His children, as the writer recounts some of the many times the Lord has strongly supported them. Here in the book’s last verse we see His great power in exalting and glorifying His people; for even in our human frailties, He lifts us up above every challenge. Indeed, as the psalmist says, “He will beautify the afflicted ones with salvation.” (Psalm 149: 4)
