“Don’t Forget to Remember”

May 22, 2017

Deuteronomy 8: 12, 13: “When you have eaten and are satisfied, and have built good houses and lived in them, and when your herds and your flocks multiply, and your silver and gold multiply, and all that you have multiplies ….”  Notice the modifier: when, not if.  God is always faithful to keep His part of the covenant.  It is only when we forget Him and turn our eyes to the blessings rather than the source that we get into trouble.  Five very important words: Remember the Lord your God!  (v. 18)
