“Changing Times”
Luke 23: 28-29: “But Jesus turning to them said, ‘Daughters of Jerusalem, stop weeping for Me, but weep for yourselves and for your children. For behold, the days are coming when they will say, “Blessed are the barren, and the wombs that never bore, and the breasts that never nursed.”’” Isn’t it sad? Jesus speaks of these coming days in an indicting tone, because barren wombs and unused breasts were considered a curse in His day, and right up until recent times. Now many hold them up as a desirable ideal, something Jesus was definitely not promoting. My, how we have missed it!
