“Consider It Done”

Psalm 138: 2; 8a: “I will bow down toward Your holy temple, and give thanks to Your Name for Your lovingkindness and Your truth … the Lord will accomplish what concerns me.” Once God gives you a promise, it’s a done deal. He had promised David that his seed would build Him a house, and that was enough for Dave. He even started bowing toward the temple, when at that point the only direction he could bow to was the future, because the actual temple would not yet exist for several decades. It didn’t matter to David; he knew that, sooner or later, “The Lord will accomplish what concerns me.”
