“Extreme Prejudice”

Acts 22: 21-22: “And He said to me, ‘Go, for I will send you far away to the Gentiles.’ And they listened to him up to this statement, and then they raised their voices and said, ‘Away with such a fellow from the earth, for he should not be allowed to live!’” Can you imagine, people getting so angry at someone just because he claimed that God loved everyone? Hey, it happened to Jesus in His own hometown (Luke 4: 24-29). But we who have received such love must take care that we do not hate those who continue to question it. If God’s love is for us, it is for them, as well, and we must never refuse it to anyone, even those who begrudge it to us!
