“Ultimate Fulfillment”

“Do not think that I came to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I did not come to abolish, but to fulfill.”Matthew 5: 17: What Law and Prophets did Jesus come to fulfill? Not just the Ten Commandments, or the one that says, ‘Eye for eye, tooth for tooth.’ He fulfills Ezekiel 33: 11: ‘I take no pleasure in the death of the wicked.’ He fulfills Micah 6: 8: ‘He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?’ He fulfills Malachi 4: 6: ‘He will restore the hearts of the fathers to their children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers.’ These are the kinds of fulfillment the Church should be talking about, and living out!
