“Bawal ang Anxiety, pero Bawal ang Tamad Din”

Matthew 6: 26, 31a: “Look at the birds of the air, that they do not sow, nor do they reap, nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them … Do not be anxious then.” We must not look at this passage as an excuse for laziness. True, sparrows do not reap, sow, or gather, but they do work hard to build a nest for themselves and their young. God is truly our provider, and yet He still tells us “A little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to rest; and poverty will come upon you like a bandit, and scarcity like a bandit.”(Proverbs 6: 10)
