“As a Result”

Matthew 9: 8: “But when the multitudes saw this, they were filled with awe, and glorified God, Who had given such authority to men.” This is a perfect example of the point in yesterday’s Office Memo. Obvious results of Jesus ministering to the paralytic were his forgiveness and even his healing. But further, God was glorified by the whole crowd as they saw His greatness. This certainly justifies the cost of a new roof! (See this story in Mark and Luke)
