“Appear Before God”
Psalm 42: 2b, 5b: “When shall I come and appear before God? … Hope in God, for I shall again praise Him for the help of His presence.” Sometimes we appear before God, and sometimes, often when we’re at our lowest, He appears before us. It’s we who depend on Him, not the other way around. But however He chooses to orchestrate it (and it’s never the same way every time), know that He will always be the help of your countenance, and your God (v. 10).
