“Purified By Fire”

2 Peter 3: 6-7: “… the world at that time was destroyed, being flooded with water. But the present heavens and earth by His Word are being reserved for fire …” Notice the distinction, a distinction many miss: the world before was destroyed by the flood, the present heavens and earth are being preserved for fire. Fire purifies, it consumes whatever is perishable. This age is not about destruction, but purification. It’s time to submit ourselves to the purifying fire of God!
