“Chronologically Challenged?”

John 1: 15: “John bore witness of Him, and cried out, saying. ‘This was He of Whom I said, “He Who comes after me has a higher rank than I, for He existed before me.”’” The first chapter of Luke makes it clear that John was conceived six months before Jesus, thus was born before Him. Even if John tarried in the womb and Jesus was an extreme preemie, there is no way Jesus came first. Yet John says here that Jesus ‘existed’ before him. Paano? Because the Divine Nature of Christ is eternal, “Going forth from long ago, from the days of eternity.”(Micah 5: 20). Hard for John to beat that!
