Purified in Purpose

The Jews saw sickness and suffering as a result of sin. That is true. Except when it’s not, as in the case of Job and those persecuted for righteousness’ sake. Jesus sees sickness and suffering as an opportunity to show the works of God. That is what He came for. Not to accuse and condemn, which is the work of the devil. Our purpose is to participate in Jesus’ ministry of reconciliation and restoration, not in the ministry of condemnation and accusation.
