“See It Through”

Mark 16: 1: “And when the Sabbath was over, Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James, and Salome, bought spices, that they might come and anoint Him. And very early on the first day of the week they came to the tomb.” It had been a tough week. Probably the worst Sabbath ever. No one would have blamed the women if they had just decided to stay in bed and skip the whole ‘anoint the dead body’ thing. And if they had skipped it, how would the world have found out that Jesus was alive? Sometimes, when following through is the very last thing you want to do, that’s time you must do it. There’s no place in the Kingdom of God for pity parties or, worse, giving up.
