“Short Memory”

Exodus 17: 2: “Therefore the people quarreled with Moses and said, ‘Give us water that we may drink.’” Didn’t the people get the idea yet? In the previous few weeks they had seen the Lord turn the waters of the Nile into blood, part the waters of the Red Sea, close the waters of the Red Sea, and turn sweet the bitter waters of Marah. Couldn’t they see the pattern? Obviously God is in control of all matters related to water! Remember this in the next flood or drought; and don’t grumble, pray!
