“As It Was in the Beginning …”

1 Timothy 6: 3-4a: “If someone advocates a different doctrine, and does not agree with sound words, those of our Lord Jesus Christ, and with the doctrine conforming to godliness, he is conceited and understands nothing.” As we started off the week, so we end it: with an encouragement to keep faithful to true doctrine. There are a billion words out there, many of them good, but we as believers are called to learn and hang on to the sound words of Christ. These are what are supposed to mold and shape our lives.
