“Undeniable Fruit”
Numbers 24: 5-7: “How fair are your tents, O Jacob, your dwellings, O Israel! Like valleys that stretch out, like gardens beside the river, like aloes planted by the Lord, like cedars beside the waters. Water shall flow from his buckets, and his seed shall be by many waters, and his king shall be higher than Agag, and His Kingdom shall be exalted.” Balak had tried everything to avoid his inevitable end of being overcome and destroyed by the oncoming Israelites; He trained his armies and hired a soothsayer to say the sooth. But he failed to account for one factor: the people of Israel were God’s Covenant children, and were bound to receive the fruit of His Covenant with Abraham. There was no way that Balak could prevent that fruit from coming forth!
