“You Be the Judge”

August 9, 2018

Acts 4: 19:  “But Peter and John answered and said to them, ‘Whether it is right in the sight of God to give heed to you rather than to God, you be the judge.’”  The council saw a noteworthy miracle.  A man who had been lame his whole life was now walking!  Shockingly, they somehow judged this a bad thing, and tried to pass their judgment on to the people.  But when it comes to the things of God, guidelines can be given and experiences shared, but as we stand before God He won’t ask us what someone else thinks.  Each will have to answer for himself what is right in the sight of God.
