“Ready with the Word”

Luke 4: 17: “And the book of Isaiah the prophet was handed to Him. And He opened the book, and found the place where it was written …” If you were handed the Word of God by someone and asked to share His message for that day, could you “find the place” immediately? Not a website, blog, or posting, but “the place” where the Lord’s word could be found? Jesus could, because it was “His custom” (v. 16). This is the reason we read the MDR regularly – so we can be ready with the Word!
