“Death Is Dead!”

Romans 6: 11: “Even so consider yourselves to be dead to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus.” Today’s perverted culture depicts death as preferable to life. Reminiscent of Barnabas Collins, the 1960’s ‘good guy vampire’ character, the walking dead have somehow become cool. But please listen: The Bible never says a single good thing about literal physical death. Not one. It robs, it enslaves, it destroys. So once we have entered into life, we do not need to carry death along with us as a souvenir. Chuck it like the extra flashlight. Be alive to God!
