“Remember Who You’re Dealing With”
John 6: 68b-69: “Lord, to whom shall we go? You have words of eternal truth. And we have believed and come to know that You are the Holy One of God.” Because He has words of eternal truth and is the Holy One of God, we can expect certain things from Jesus. For one, He doesn’t need man’s testimony about man, for He knows what is in a man (John 2: 24, 25); thus, when Peter thinks he is speaking for all the apostles, Jesus knows who is excepted (Judas). As was said last week, God judges our secrets, not our publicity.
