“Hope of the Self-doubting”

1 John 3: 2: “Beloved, we are now children of God, and it has not appeared as yet what we shall be. We know that, when He appears, we shall be like Him, because we shall see Him just as He is.” Who am I? Everyone from Jackie Chan to Jesus Himself has asked this question, and usually (except in the case of Jesus) we can come up with some pretty horrid answers. But the truth is absolutely astounding: You are a child of God, and the more you get to know Him, the more you become like Him! Is there any greater hope than that?
