“Listen to Who?”

Acts 5: 29: “But Peter and the apostles answered and said, ‘We must obey God rather than men.” There is a peculiar quirk in today’s society: It thinks it has taken over the reins from God. ‘It’s a new day (atheistic), with a new attitude (rebellion), and new rules (unrighteousness).’ Except it’s not. God has not relinquished control; He loves us too much to do that. So why would you obey those who aren’t in charge, whose system is crumbling and whose rewards are temporal?
