“Humble Sinner”

Psalm 25: 8, 9: “Good and upright is the Lord; therefore He instructs sinners in the way. He leads the humble in justice, and He teaches the humble His way.” Saint or sinner, it seems to make little difference to God – He’ll lead them to His way eventually. But pride vs. humility? How many scriptures can you think of that say God leads the proud? Try zero, because there are none. The humble, naughty or nice, get led and taught, but the proud have to undergo an extra step first: breaking. Only in humility can they be led.
