“Highly Exalted Christ”
Philippians 2: 9, 10: “God highly exalted Him, and bestowed upon Him the Name that is above every name, that at the Name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and on earth, and under the earth.” God the Father did not just give Jesus (the man) a good name, but a great Name, the great Name, the Name above every name, in every place. Thus, He’s not just a good prophet, or even a great prophet; neither a good man nor a great man. Christians believe that Jesus Christ is above all, highly exalted, to that level of greatness reserved for the fully divine, as well as fully human, the only begotten Son of God. This is greatness incomparable, exaltation unrepeatable. Of all born of a woman, Jesus Christ alone is Lord!
