“Evening Ritual”

Psalm 141: 2: “May my prayer be counted as incense before You; the lifting up of my hands as the evening offering.” Besides making the connection between incense and prayer, this verse shows us something else. In Old Testament times the evening offering was a very regular thing; it happened like clockwork every day somewhere around 3: 00 pm. Can God count on our prayers to be as faithful? Morning or evening is not so much the issue; what matters is, are prayers ascending?
