“Don’t Follow the Nations”

Revelation 18: 3: “For all the nations have drunk of the wine of the passion of her immorality, and the kings of the earth have committed acts of immorality with her, and the merchants have become rich by the wealth of her sensuality.” After repeating in verse two the angelic proclamation of 14: 8 (Babylon is fallen!), the heavenly messenger describes the nature and depth of the fall. Basically men have succumbed to Babylon’s temptation of lustful greed and self-centered desires-and not just those outside the Church. Can anyone deny that this is where we are? As was said last week: Babylon has fallen, and those who continue to flirt with her will suffer the same fate!
