“Advent Lesson #3”

2 Peter 3: 8: “But do not let this one fact escape your notice, beloved, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.” Jesus rose from the dead “early in the morning” on the third day (Hosea 6: 2; Luke 24: 1). It is now early in the third millennium. (1000 years = one day) Despite the cry of mockers who deny the coming of the Lord (vv. 3, 4) the Bible, the Creeds, and Jesus Himself said He will return. Expect it: sometime within now and the next couple of hundred years, early on the third day (millennium) Jesus Christ will be physically back on earth to stay. Want a more specific date?
