“Pseudo Angel”

Amos 7: 10a, 12a, 13: “Then Amaziah, the priest of Bethel … said to Amos … ‘No longer prophesy at Bethel, for it is a sanctuary of the king and a royal residence.” The Law of Moses made no provision for Amaziah to be priest, nor for Bethel to be the Sanctuary. Both were innovations of Jereboam, Israel’s most wicked king; just to keep his subjects from going to Judah and perhaps returning to the true God. As said yesterday, God has a messenger angel for you. Today we see: the one who claims to be that one may not be telling you the truth!
