“Root of Hatred”

1 Corinthians 4: 5: “Therefore do not go on passing judgment before the time, but wait until the Lord comes Who will both bring to light the things hidden and disclose the motives of men’s hearts.” Hatred is rooted in judgment; we decide that someone has hate-worthy character or deeds. But the details needed to judge properly are hidden, and only Christ can properly discern men’s motives. This is why we need to forsake all our hatred!
