“Anger: Domain of God Alone”

Psalm 69: 24: “Pour out Your indignation on them, and may Your burning anger overtake them.” So how come God can be angry, and we can’t? Because He is God, and we aren’t. Anger requires judgment, and righteous anger requires righteous judgment. Only God can judge righteously. Our judgment is unrighteous; thus, our anger is most unrighteous, as well. That is why we are cautioned to refrain from it.
