“A Time to Be Afraid”

Psalm 85: 9: “Surely His salvation is near to those who fear Him, that glory may dwell in our land.” Here fear means awe, respect, and reverence for God. You can’t have enough of this kind of fear; however much you have now, increase it. Having this kind of fear means you will be confident of God’s salvation, which eliminates the other kind of fear; fear of anyone or anything that comes against you. Fear of evil means you don’t fear God properly!
