“A Time to Be Afraid”

1 Corinthians 10: 12: “Therefore let him who thinks he stands take heed lest he fall.” If you think you’ve got it all together, got it all figured out, and that God’s got your back because, quite frankly, He couldn’t do without you, now you need to worry. If your lack of fear is based on confidence in yourself rather than reverence of God, you have all kind of reasons to be afraid. Sooner or later those reasons will prove true. Let courage and confidence stem from love of God, because such perfect love casts out all fear!
