“Aware of the Suffering”

Mark 8: 2: “I feel compassion for the multitude because they have remained with me now three days, and have nothing to eat.” Although having just completed a grueling three-day revival campaign and being totally exhausted, Jesus was very aware of the needs the multitudes still had. Are we aware, not so much of the suffering seen on our screens, but of that encountered when we bother to look up from them?
