“Affliction or Discipline?”

1 Corinthians 11: 32: “But when we are judged, we are disciplined by the Lord in order that we may not be condemned along with the world.” There is no such thing as a life without affliction; God loves us too much for that. It is through discipline, prompted by His love, that we grow into God’s image. It worked that way for Jesus (Hebrews 5: 8) and it works that way for us.
