“Different Kingdom”

1 Corinthians 15: 50: “Flesh and blood cannot inherit the Kingdom of God; nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable.” Many people imagine the afterlife as a place of complete and total fulfillment of all carnal desires. No, the afterlife is a place where spiritual desires (the will of God) are given free rein, while any necessary bodily desires are fulfilled in a way that is neither self-seeking nor self-centered. But perishable selfish desires cannot inherit the Kingdom, in this life or the next. So, scratch the personal celestial harem!
