Day 73: Spiritual Food in Quarantine

“As each part does its work, He makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love.” (Eph 4:16)

Ephesians 4 urges us to walk in a manner worthy of our calling in love and to be diligent to preserve unity. God gave leaders to equip the saints for the work of service to build up the body of Christ. The work is to go on until we reach the stature of Jesus so that we’re not swayed by adversity. Jesus causes the growth of the body AS EACH MEMBER DOES HIS PART.

In this social media culture, sometimes there are too many cooks who think they know better and they spoil the broth. It’s not wrong to offer help, but we should realize some are called to be food servers.

If we Christians do our part and do it in unity and love, we will be able to meet people’s needs. The church will then be built up and we will make a difference. A difference the world could use at this time.
