“Faith”

Acts 27: 33, 34: “Paul was encouraging them all to take some food, saying, ‘Today is the fourteenth day that you have been constantly watching and going without eating, having taken nothing. Therefore I encourage you to take some food, for this is for your preservation; for not a hair from the head of any of you shall perish.’” For two solid weeks the storm had raged. Shipwreck was inevitable. They had just cut away the lifeboats. Two hundred seventy-six souls were aboard; what were the odds they would all survive? Yet Paul speaks words of faith. He had an appointment with Caesar, and God wasn’t going to let him miss it. When you know, you know. And you speak.
