“God Intentions XX”

John 8: 39: “They answered and said to Him, ‘Abraham is our father.’ Jesus said to them, ‘If you are Abraham’s children, do the deeds of Abraham.” What were Abraham’s deeds? They were many and noble, but Genesis (and St. Paul) sum them up in the words, “[Abraham] believed in the Lord, and He reckoned it to him as righteousness.” (Genesis 15: 6, Romans 4: 3) 

Believe God when He says He loves the world, believe God when He says His plans for you are hope for your future, believe God when He says that there is salvation only in His Son. These things are all God’s intentions, which He WILL do. But remember, believing is not mere mental assent, but corresponding action, as well.
