Monday, March 1: “Sleepless in Heaven” (Alternate title: ”The Original Pinkerton”)

Jeremiah 1: 12:Then the Lord said to me, ‘You have seen well, for I am watching over My Word to perform it.’” This word translated ‘watching’ is in Hebrew ‘shoqed’, which literally means ‘watching without sleep.’ God is ever watching over His Word—singular, capital letter—that promises to bring to pass His eternal Kingdom in all its fullness. Yes, God has spoken many words (plural, lower case) to bless, keep, and have favor on you personally. They will come to pass, too. But His Word—the future of His inevitable Kingdom, that Word—He’s keeping a special eye on until it’s done. So chillax!
