Monday, May 6: “The Importance of Being Real II”

Colossians 1: 13: “He rescued us from the domain of darkness, and transferred us to the Kingdom of His beloved Son.”

When we have been rescued from the domain of darkness, that means we are not slaves to that domain any more. No longer can we say, “The devil made me do it!” No, we now reside in the Kingdom of God’s Son, a Kingdom where we are free to walk in the light. Free to be who God made us to be. To seek an abode of darkness that will cloak our evil deeds is to live a lie (John 3: 20). The Kingdom of light is about the truth, a place where we have no need of false personae. In the Kingdom of God we live out His reality.
