When all the people and the tax collectors heard this, they acknowledged God’s justice, having been baptized with the baptism of John. (Luke 7:29)

Justice is setting things right. It is getting things back to their original or rightful status. It is restorative, not punitive; reformative, not retributive. Man was created good, and his Maker is bent on pursuing justice for His beloved creatures.

God brings about His justice by taking away the sins of the world. He is faithful and just in forgiving us and cleansing us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). He does this even at the cost of His own life. This divine way of righting the wrong will result in universal reconciliation and the restoration of life for our Father's world.
